Project Brief

The Future of Gaza, Palestine

or a while now, the situation has been overwhelming due to warfare, fres, and widespread destruc-tion. Cities are being reshaped or erased entirely, with people losing their homes. The chosen city is Gaza, which faces a more severe situation than other cities. With over 2 million people living in a small land plot, it has one of the highest population densities in the world. People are losing their homes every day and living in disastrous conditions with scarce access to safe water, food, and healthcare. The primary focus of the design approach was on the situation of children who, at an age where they should be building colorful cubic homes and toys, are instead losing their actual homes and hope. he chosen city is Gaza, which faces a more severe situation than other cities. Project Brief

The Future of Odisha, India

The puri city is a famous city of india which lies in the coastal belt of odisha, india. It usually suffers from cyclones and the livelihood gets affected. In the imagination, I tried to imagine a city in future with boat shaped houses hovering in the skies and at the same time taking the traditional style of architecture.

Project Brief

The Future of Cairo, Egypt

The reason I chose Cairo is not only because of its rich history and culture. It is also my hometown, where I have spent most of my childhood. I like the idea of core memories being attached to places and the feeling of reliving certain memories when visiting the places. Certain corners in our neighborhood remind us of playing hide and seek with our childhood friends, certain corner shops or “koshks” remind us of the streets we lived in. Cairo is a fusion of rural slow-living city with its Nile, flokas and the busy bustling fast-paced metropolis full of store lights, cars, buses and crowded metro lines.
